The Mitsudaki Trail features three cascading waterfalls: the lower falls (5m), middle falls (11m), and upper falls (6m).
Starting from Gandate Park, it’s just a 5-minute walk to the first waterfall viewing spot, Takimi Bridge, where you can see both the lower and middle falls from a distance. You can easily enjoy the falls here without heavy gear.
Continuing upstream from Takimi Bridge, you’ll find a walking trail that allows you to explore all three waterfalls. The trail is mostly flat and well-maintained with wooden paths, cobblestones, and metal walkways. However, be prepared to climb over 200 stairs if you venture further upstream.
*Please note that on rainy days, the metal walkways can become slippery, especially during descent. Exercise caution, especially if the footing is unstable.
The following schedule is just a guideline. Please participate with enough time and energy to spare.
